The connection runs through a local gateway that takes Bnewable's schedules and executes them while your own EMS keeps doing what it does on site.
No. Bnewable Voltana works inside the electrical limits of your site and protects the main fuses against over-current, and it holds your contractual offtake and injection limits. Your local energy management system keeps its own protection role. Schedules are built around your forecast load, so the battery storage system moves when your site has room for it to move.

The two solutions differ in who owns the battery storage system:
• Bnewable Voltana on its own: You own the battery storage system, you keep the returns, and Bnewable operates it for you.
